Datatech (part of Innotech that specialises in the implementation of the full data management cycle) has become an official distributor of the Arenadata Enterprise Data Platform designed to collect, store and process data, in Uzbekistan. The agreements were reached at the 2nd International PLUS Forum organised in Tashkent on May 25–27, 2022 and supported by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan is a strategically important market for Datatech where customers are highly interested in cutting-edge IT. The national economy is experiencing explosive growth: in 2021, GDP rose by over7 %, while the economic growth was 24% over the last 4 years. In this context, the IT sector is rapidly growing: according to the Centre for Economic Research and Reforms, capital investment has quadrupled over the last 4 years. This makes this market extremely appealing, even for international IT companies looking for export opportunities.
Datatech specialises in the development of systems that enable a full cycle of data management: from poorly structure Big Data to comprehensive analytical platforms based on the open source technologies. The company designs both industry solutions (data repositories for the banking sector) and cross-industry recommendation systems using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). The company's solutions are technologically based on the products developed by its partner, Arenadata. The top-of-the-line solution of the latter — Arenadata Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) — is an open-source integrated enterprise data platform with the tools that store and process "cold" to "hot" data within a single support service.
"Uzbekistan is a strategically important region for us because we see strong potential here and a high demand for cutting-edge IT for everyday tasks. The Russian market has a unique technology presented by Arenadata that covers the entire cycle of data handling. It is based on the cutting-edge open stack technology and has proven to be highly effective," commented Alexander Fridman, First Deputy CEO at Datatech, on the agreement. "The Uzbek IT industry opens up huge opportunities for developing our products. I'm confident that the unique technologies actively promoted by Datatech and Arenadata can help local businesses reach a completely new level."
"The IT market is now carefully watching the Russian technologies that have already reached the global level. This is why we welcome the agreement that will take our platform to the Uzbek market that, in the context of explosive economic growth, is in dire need of cutting-edge solutions for various types of data repositories ranging from "data lakes" to high-load analytical "data factories". We're confident that this is just one of the first steps on the way to unlocking the export potential of our product," notes Victor Yakovlev, Director for Business Development on New Markets at Arenadata.
